The Season Finale Pre-Qualification process is available for studios and dancers who did not qualify a routine at a Velocity Regional event during the 2026-2027 season.
All Pre-Qualification routines must be submitted by video through Velocity’s online registration system. There will not be an in-person Pre-Qualification competition at Season Finale.
The deadline to register and upload all Pre-Qualification videos is May 7, 2027.
All routines,registration information, payments, and videos must be completed by the deadline.
Submissions received by email will not be accepted. Late or incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
Pre-Qualification routines will be reviewed and scored by Velocity judges.
Studios will receive adjudication results and critiques through the online registration system.
A routine must receive a High Gold adjudication or higher to become eligible to compete at the 2027 Season Finale.
Studios will be notified of their Pre-Qualification results by May 12, 2027.
Qualifying a routine through Pre-Qualification does not automatically register the routine for Season Finale. Studios with qualifying routines must complete their Season Finale competition registration by May 22, 2027.
Adjudication awards will not be mailed for the Pre-Qualification process.
All dancers must be registered through a valid studio account to participate in Pre-Qualification and compete at Season Finale.
Independent dancers are not eligible to compete at Velocity.
All dancer names and birth dates must be entered correctly, and each dancer must be assigned to the appropriate routine before the submission is completed.
All Pre-Qualification videos must be uploaded through the studio’s Velocity registration account.
Videos will not be accepted by email.
To submit a video:
- Register the routine in the appropriate category
- Add and assign all participating dancers
- Complete all required routine information
- Select the Media Manager button
- Upload the correct video to the applicable routine
- Preview the uploaded video before submitting the registration
Studios are responsible for confirming that each video is complete, plays correctly, and is attached to the correct routine.
The submitted video should show the full routine clearly from beginning to end. The dancers should remain visible throughout the performance.
Current Pre-Qualification rates will be available through Velocity’s online registration system in March of 2027.
All registration fees are nonrefundable.
Velocity accepts online payments through the registration system using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Studios are responsible for reviewing their registration and confirming that all required information, payments, dancer assignments, and videos have been submitted by May 7, 2027.
