Velocity Dance Convention is proud to continue our partnership with C EVENT PICS to provide professional photo and video coverage for Velocity dancers throughout the season.
Our media packages are designed to make it easier for dancers and families to access, enjoy, and keep the memories created on the Velocity stage.
Each dancer participating in competition is required to pay a $50 Regional media fee.
The Regional media fee is charged once per dancer for the entire Regional season. If a dancer competes at more than one Velocity Regional event during the same season, the fee will be applied only to the dancer’s first Regional competition registration.
The Regional media package includes professional photo and video coverage of all routines in which the dancer performs at every Velocity Regional city they attend during that season.
Studios should enter each dancer’s name and date of birth consistently at every event so the registration system can correctly identify dancers who have already paid the Regional media fee.
Season Finale media is not included in the Regional media package and requires a separate fee.
Each dancer participating in Season Finale competition is required to pay a $55 Season Finale media fee.
The Season Finale media package includes professional photo and video coverage of the dancer’s competition routines at Season Finale.
Each dancer participating in the MVA Program at Season Finale is required to pay a $65 MVA media fee.
The MVA media package includes professional photo and video coverage of:
- The dancer’s MVA solo
- The dancer’s MVA group performance during the faculty show
A dancer participating in both Season Finale competition and the MVA Program will pay only the $65 MVA media fee. The separate $55 Season Finale media fee will not also be charged.
Media fees are required for all competing dancers and MVA participants at Velocity.
Velocity’s professional media experience includes:
- Professional photo and video coverage
- Personalized media access for each dancer
- One unique access key per dancer
- Content available through Velocity’s online media page
- Coverage from every Regional city included with the dancer’s seasonal Regional media package
- Streamlined delivery through our media partner, C EVENT PICS
Each dancer’s media is accessed using a unique key created from the dancer’s first name, last name, and date of birth.
The information must be entered in the following order:
- First two letters of the dancer’s first name
- Dancer’s entire last name with no spaces
- Two-digit birth month
- Two-digit birth day
- Last two digits of the birth year
Enter all information together with no spaces.
Dancer: Jane Smith
Date of Birth: April 3, 2015
Media Key: jasmith040315
Please make sure the dancer’s name is spelled correctly and the date of birth is entered accurately during registration. Incorrect information may prevent the dancer’s media key from working properly.
