Jeremy Hudson was born and raised in South Carolina where he also received most of his dance training. One of his first career-influencing opportunities came when he competed on the television show Star Search as part of a trio. After getting a taste of the industry, he followed his dream back to California to pursue dance professionally. Jeremy has been a part of numerous feature films, including: Dance Flick, Bring It On 5, Hannah Montana: The Movie, Princess and The Frog, Step Up 3D, Footloose, The Muppets Movie, and What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Jeremy also performed in a featured ballet dance role in the recent remake of Fame. He has worked on television shows like Glee, Shake It Up, So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, X-Factor, America’s Got Talent, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and Ellen. Dancing With The Stars has featured Jeremy not only as a dancer, but also as a guest choreographer for the show. He has worked on numerous commercials, award shows, and music videos, as well as dancing for artists such as Paula Abdul, Miley Cyrus, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, and most recently, with Lady Gaga on the Born This Way Ball world tour.
Jeremy is credited not only with being a versatile dancer, but also a versatile teacher, combining various techniques in his choreography and performance style. He believes a dancer is not made great through mastery of technical skills alone, but also by exhibiting an attitude of confidence in the performance of any type of dance with which he or she is confronted. Jeremy strives to push dancers outside of their comfort zones while simultaneously creating a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere in which that confidence can expand.
